Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji

Immaculate Conception. Goa is a myriad ancient church and is concentrated in Velha, Goa which possessed a singularly distinctive appearance which takes the double flights of steps towards the zigzag across the hillside which is built in an immaculate and sparkling white color. The Church is said to be housing the ancient bell and it also gets removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of the lady of Grace. The Bell is said to be considered as the second largest of its kind in Goa. The Church has all this view which makes it a unique structure:

The Chapel was later rebuilt in the year 1619 and it stands as a beautiful blend of the Portuguese-Baroque and Goan style which is also the most visited and called the crown of Panaji, Goa.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is placed in Goa state capital city Panjim. The church conducts mass in three language Portuguese, English and Konkani every day. This church is full built in 1609 by Portuguese ruler. Portuguese ruler first built here a chapel in 1541 later it converted into a big church in 1609. The church also has second largest bell of the world which installed in 1871. The church also celebrates an annual festival every year on 8th December.
