Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, North Goa

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at ponda Taluka, northeastern Goa. Sanctuary is spread in 8 kilo meters square area. It is famous for leopards, deer, bison, peafowl and Malabar Giant Squirrel. It also as a Zoo where tourist and local people can enjoy picnic where you can visit different types of the animals and brides.

Bondla Wildlife sanctuary is located in the North-Eastern Goa, India and is at Ponda Laluka. The total area of the park is 8 Square Kilometre. It can be said a popular destination for both the tourists and school children. A wide variety of animal life is said to be found here including sambar Deer, Indian Bison, Malabar Giant Squirrel along with Indian Peafowla nd many species of snakes. The Bondla wildlife sanctuary provides a good home to the leopards who have been injured in human-wildlife conflict along with dancing bears and cobras who with their trainers give a new life to the endangered wildlife.

The Bondla provides an excellent environment to the various breed of animals along with doing research on animals. The animals has been known for keeping themselves close to their habitat but at the same time the people could witness them from a safe distance and it leads to helping them with thrill and excitement. The bird watchers could also get much of reprieve as the various species of birds could be seen flocking and it makes one feel easy by listening to chirping of birds and thus the fresh air gives a holistic approach in life and also makes it one of the prominent tourist attractions of India.
