Baga Beach Market, North Goa

The Baga beach night flea market started from every Saturday evening. Baga beach market is famous to purchase like clothes, exotic delicacies, trinkets, delicious cuisine, tarot reading, wood carvings, funky haircuts and bric-a-brac. This is famous also to purchase jewellery, souvenirs, handmade by the local artisans and leather goods. This market started from November to end of the May. This market also has free parking facilities.

The Baga Beach Market is located just 10 Kms West of Mapusa with the West Coast of Goa. It is a wonderful beach located between two famous beaches which are Colva and Calangute. It is said that the visit to Baga does not get completed until the shop at Flea Market and could be held every Saturday evening. This market was primarily given the importance of Wednesday Flea Market at Anjuna and the quite lively and impressive Baga Beach Market makes it more important as it is also lit up with lamps under the night sky. Also, the presence of live bands create a festive ambience in the market which simply makes the place thoroughly enjoyable.

A person can also get various commodities which ranges from Fish, Meat and Grocery to the Textiles along with Earthenware and the household articles with other provisions. The Bazaar also has abundance of all kinds of traditional and rural products which could be chicken, eggs and brooms along with the number of hand with the various funky lifestyle salon opened which has funky haircut along with tarot reading and palmistry along with wood carvings. The competitive bargaining may lead to some great deals but haggling is not required and it is a beach market which Goa is fiercely proud about it.
